Travel Health Services

Pharmacist immunizing patientTraveling for business, pleasure, or both? Immunizations are an important part of preparing for your trip.  You may be exposed to diseases that are not a concern in the United States, but exist in the country of your destination(s). Many of these diseases are preventable by administering readily-accessible vaccines prior to your departure.  Our clinical pharmacist, Eric Barbye, specializes in travel health.  He is licensed by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy to recommend and administer any vaccine that is listed in the CDC and Prevention’s Health Information for International Travel.  Eric has also completed 10 hours of "Advanced Competency Training in Pharmacy-Based Travel Health Services" from the American Pharmacists Association.

Call us today at (410) 749-1899 to schedule an appointment! We kindly request that you schedule your consultation at least 4-6 weeks prior to international travel. If you are a last-minute traveler, we will work with you to get the immunizations and medications you need prior to departure.
